A daybed is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to sleep comfortably, just like in a traditional bed, but simply doesn’t have the space for one. Or who does have the space but prefers to use it for something else. BED CONCEPT is ideal for:

How does a Murphy bed work?
The bed is designed to be easy, comfortable, and safe for everyone in the household to use. When folded, the BED CONCEPT looks like a minimalist and elegant wardrobe. To open the bed, start by clicking the flap on the front, which also serves as the bed’s base. Now all you need to do is give it a gentle pull, and the bed will begin to lower slowly, transforming the wardrobe into a comfortable place to sleep. It’s worth noting that the bed lowers slowly and safely on its own; you don’t need to monitor it or support it. Closing it works the same way—simply lift the bed, and the entire unit disappears into the wall, freeing up space for other activities. The smooth and effortless closing mechanism is made possible by pneumatic lifts. BED CONCEPT also features a special stabilizer that prevents the mattress from shifting unexpectedly.
Perfectly designed
The BED CONCEPT daybed is a certified piece of furniture for the whole family (it holds a TÜV certificate) and is safe even for children. It has been designed to be easy and comfortable to use for everyone in the household. The bed features a reinforced, wall-mounted frame, a metal structure, and a sturdy support integrated into the front of the unit—this combination ensures that the entire bed is completely safe, stable, and durable. Pneumatic lifts prevent the bed from opening suddenly.
The bedding disappears along with the bed
A huge advantage of the half-canopy bed is that you don’t need extra space to store bedding. The half-canopy bed is equipped with very practical straps that secure the bedding, allowing the pillows and comforter to disappear along with the bed. In just a few moments! This is great news for anyone who doesn’t like wasting time making the bed every day.
Comfortable, but is it also stylish?
We designed BED CONCEPT in the spirit of modern minimalism. Its geometric form, handle-free fronts, and understated design give the piece a stylish look while also making it versatile and easy to adapt to various interior designs. It’s worth noting the leg that supports the bed when it’s unfolded, which becomes part of the front panel when the bed is folded up. The interior wall of the piece features shelves for books and decorations. This ensures that, while resting at night, you’ll always have the essentials within easy reach. An optional LED lighting package is available, featuring lights mounted beneath the shelves and vertical LED strips that help create a cozy evening atmosphere. The bed can also be equipped with flexible LED lights featuring a built-in USB port for convenient phone charging.
Choose Your Size
Lenart’s fold-away beds are available in both vertical and horizontal versions. Murphy bed The vertical version is compatible with up to five mattress widths—90, 120, 140, 160, and 180 cm. The horizontal version of BED CONCEPT is designed for mattresses with widths of 90, 120, 140, and 160 cm. With so many options, everyone can find the perfect bed—a large bed for two, a single bed for one person, or a bed for a growing child. BED CONCEPT is available without a mattress, but the bed’s design allows it to be paired with any mattress up to 20 cm thick. All items in the collection are available in four finishes: matte white, white/glossy white, matte gray, and artisan oak.
High Quality
All components of the BED CONCEPT system, depending on the color option, are made of high-quality laminated or MDF panels that are resistant to scratches, damage, moisture, and both high and low temperatures. The bodies and fronts are finished with durable ABS edging. The support mechanism and bed frame are made of metal, which directly contributes to their high durability. The slatted base is made of wood, and the handle for opening the bed is made of genuine leather.
Additional storage space
The collection also includes additional furniture—two bookcases for the vertical half-canopy bed and bed extensions for the horizontal version. The bookcases feature lockable storage cabinets and open shelves for books, small items, and decorations. The BC-07 bookcase is equipped with a practical drawer. Depending on the type, the bed extensions feature either two flaps or four cabinets with doors. Each bed extension is designed to fit a specific horizontal half-canopy bed. The uniform style and color scheme of the furniture allow the pieces to be combined to create custom arrangements.
